  • W3C - The World Wide Web Consortium develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential. W3C is a forum for information, commerce, communication, and collective understanding.

  • IETF - The Internet Engineering Task Force is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet. It is open to any interested individual.

  • 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP)
    The 3GPP collaboration brings together many standards groups to drive the development of third generation mobile technologies.

  • Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) is designed to be a center for mobile service specification work, stimulating and contributing to the creation of end-to-en interoperable services. OMA brings together wireless vendors, mobile operators, information technology companies and application and content providers.

  • The Wi-Fi Alliance is a nonprofit international association formed in 1999 to certify interoperability of wireless Local Area Network products based on IEEE 802.11 specification.

  • The Liberty Alliance Project is a consortium of more than 160 technology and consumer organizations that works for an open standard for federated network identity.
